  • Call (650) 827-8455 to set up an appointment with a counselor to talk about your options High school diploma or Basic Skills Review
  • Students under 18 must set up an appointment with Administrator of Adult Education and parent/guardian prior to receiving a counseling appointment.
  • Begin your studies at any time during the year.
  • Attend day (8:15am - 12:15pm) or evening (4:30pm – 7:00pm) hours.

The following sources of credit may be applied toward a high school diploma:

1. Credits earned in other accredited high schools, adult schools, colleges;

2. Credits earned in a foreign country;

3. Work experience or military service; or

4. Pre-approved job training classes.

 

High School Subjects

  • A full high school diploma program is provided with all subjects offered in an Individualized, self-paced format.

 

 

Senate Bill (SB) 172 (Liu), signed by Governor Brown on October 7, 2015, suspends the administration of the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) and the requirement that students completing grade twelve successfully pass the high school exit examination as a condition of receiving a diploma of graduation from high school for the 2015–16, 2016–17, and 2017–18 school years.

 

 

The high school diploma classes are offered in the Learning Center of the AE main campus.
